We invite you to attend the 14th Annual Southern Nevada Alzheimer’s Education Conference on April 27, 2017 starting at 7:30am (registration) and ending at 4pm. The conference will be held at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 S. Water Street, Henderson, NV 89015. Experts presenting will be: Dr. Charles Bernick from the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health who will speak about “Alternative Treatments in Alzheimer’s Disease: What Do We Know.” Mr. John Michaelson, JD, Elder Law and VA Accredited attorney, will present information on elder abuse and exploitation—“Recognizing, Reporting and Protecting Vulnerable Seniors.” Dr. Marisa Menchola, PhD, will present “How Culture, Socioeconomics, and Belief Systems Affect Dementia.” Dr. Dylan Wynt will be speaking on “Behavioral Issues in Alzheimer’s Disease” and author Nancy Nelson will close the conference with “Holding Hands with Creativity After Diagnosis.” We encourage you to join us on April 27 to get great information and be among compassionate friends and families facing the same challenges.
