Jennifer brings more than 20+ years legal experience to Michaelson Law.  Prior to focusing her practice on estate planning and probate matters, she was a Partner in a mid-sized firm representing national home builders in complex litigation matters.    

Jennifer was raised in the Midwest and moved to Nevada to attend college at the University of Nevada, Reno. She then attended law school at the University of San Diego.  Following law school, she moved back to Nevada to be closer to family and began her legal career.

Jennifer’s current practice areas include probate and trust administration, basic and advanced estate planning, including Medicaid asset protection trusts and guardianship matters.

Jennifer has been appointed as an arbitrator for the Eighth Judicial District Court and was selected as a member of the Nevada Supreme Court’s Permanent Guardianship Commission. She has also served as a member of the State Bar of Nevada Client Recovery Fund.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with her young daughter and traveling both near and far.  She loves a good book recommendation and enjoys baking, going to vintage markets and spending time outdoors on weekends.  She is also active in Junior League of Las Vegas, most recently serving as a member of their Board, and loves volunteering with the League around the community. 

Jennifer is licensed in Nevada and Washington.
