Rachel Tygret is an associate attorney with Michaelson & Associates. Her practice areas include estate planning, guardianship, and family law. Rachel was born and raised in Las Vegas. She left her hometown to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she obtained a Bachelors of Art in History in 2010. Rachel went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, CA. While in law school, Rachel participated in numerous organizations including Teen Court, the Children’s Rights Clinic, and worked alongside the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles to help citizens obtain their Cal-Fresh and other government benefits. Rachel also externed for Nevada Supreme Court Justice, Michael L. Douglas and United States District Court Judge, James C. Mahan.
Prior to joining Michaelson & Associates, Rachel spent most of her career working at a prestigious Las Vegas law firm where she honed her skills in the estate planning, probate, guardianship, and domestic areas of law. Rachel also served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Valorie J. Vega and the Honorable Richard F. Scotti of the Eighth Judicial District Court in Las Vegas, Nevada. She published Springing Forward: How Asset Protection Trusts Can Protect You and Your Property, CCIM, in 2018, and has been featured in Nevada Business Magazine, Legal Aid Center of Nevada’s 100 Pro Bono Hours Club, and Mountain States Rising Star List in 2020.
In her free time Rachel enjoys spending time with husband and daughter, spending time outdoors, caring for her various fur-babies, and cooking.
