THE 2016 VETERANS DAY PARADE – A GREAT WAY TO SAY “THANK YOU”

There are many things that have brought me personal satisfaction over the years. First and foremost, 22 years of marriage to the love of my life and amazing mother of our four beautiful children, Gina. And, if measured in the level of joy, Im a very wealthy man based on the joy my children give me every day. In helping families, seniors and veterans, I get a lot of personal satisfaction knowing that what I do for a living also helps to protect veterans and their spouses. I am a beneficiary of the sacrifices veterans, their spouses and families make and I never forget that.
Thats why I encourage everyone to attend the upcoming Veterans Day Parade on Friday, November 11, 2016. Our law firm has been volunteering for this wonderful event for 3 years. It is another one of those meaningful things in my life that bring me great satisfaction.
In addition to helping to run the parade registration, our role with the parade is chief legal counsel. Weve added a 501(c)(3) and corporate governance to allow Veterans Action Group, the small team of veterans who have run the parade (on a shoestring budget consisting of their own funds) to connect with first class donors and supporters like MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment and Humana.
Today, Las Vegas is home to well over 250,000 veterans. Whether retired or still working, we are fortunate to have neighbors and friends who have served us so valiantly. The Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade is the largest parade in the western United States and typically lasts for two hours. I encourage everyone to show your support and appreciation of our veterans on Friday, November 11, 2016 as we celebrate the 45th year of the parade. Its a fun day for alland a terrific family outing. More information can be found at http://www.veteransparade.com.
Lets turn out in big numbers, stand up, salute and clap as our veterans, including many who have been wounded in action, pass by on the parade route. Its a small thing to do in return for all they have done for us. I hope to see you there.
